YouTube stars make online video a full time “jobby”

I just read a great article  in the NY Post featuring a few of my friends and favorite vloggers, including  DeStorm, Meekakitty and TheWillofDC! The article is all about how today, vloggers are becoming successful and profitable micro-celebrities through the YouTube partnership program. Making videos is no longer just a hobby. For these New Yorkers it’s a “jobby”!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with DeStorm, Tessa and Will on camera and off, but I really cite DeStorm as one of my YouTube mentors. When I first met him last year he had only 3,000 subscribers.  He knew from day one that he wanted to make it big online and in nine short months he was able to grow his channel to over 100,000 subscribers!
