Previously on Pop17, I talked about lifecasting and interviewed Steve Chen about YouTube‘s plan to integrate live video on their site. Silicon Alley Insider said that it wouldn’t happen this year, however, it did with YouTube Live. As you can imagine, that was expensive to serve. (See more details at TechCrunch).
Part of the event was broadcasted to YouTube from 30,000 feet in the air on board Virgin America for their wifi beta launch.
I agree with Cory Williams when he says, the best part of YouTube live was getting to hang out with the community.
