Ya For Obama and McCain This Election Day

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Merry election day, my friends.

It sure does feel good to vote! This year there were more young people waiting in line at the polls than I’ve ever seen before. Joining them online are some fine internet celebrity influencers who’ve made a micro impact on the outcome of this election. Young American authors, Maureen Johnson and John Green, reached out to their audiences, many of whom voted today for the first time, via their social network on Ning. Go ahead and join one of the social networks for Obama or McCain to show your support online. After all, this opportunity won’t last. I’d like to think the internet played a significant part in initiating the young vote.

If you’re a US citizen, did you vote?

Great video Sarah. I’m so happy to see a nonpartisan report for a change. Happy days in SF. Weather has been cold here.

I like the fact that you give a balanced program without taking sides. Thanks for that. You’re a real journalist. :)

It looks like Obama is going to win. How many people voted this year?

Thanks guys. We are trying to figure out how many people voted in 2004. The winner gets 50 dollars to Starbucks. See my tweet at http://twitter.com/pop17
