Intel is asking people what inspires them and this is my answer. I’d love to hear from you all. Even if you don’t make videos and post them online, what inspires you to do what you do?

What inspires me the most when it comes to my Social Media work is getting comments and feedback from people!!! In fact I remember back to my school days every time I got an assignment back with just a grade and no comment and feedback I went back to the teacher and asked them to either tell me what they thought about it or write me a comment!!!
I totally get inspired by comments. It’s so nice when someone leave a good comment. I can listen to their ideas and find a way to make it work with my show. If it was not for all the great comments here and support from others this show would not be what it is today. I love it all and all who help.

Your place of inspiration makes me think that you are into meditation. I used to do swimming meditation back when I had a gym membership. Do you do meditation?

Sarah Austin inspires me. :) haha. As I graphic designer I get inspired by other designers, art books, magazines, posters, forums where I can talk to and share designs and ideas with other people, but mostly the people around me and places and things I see everyday.
Also, Caitlin just inspired me to make a rap video of my own.. though without the accent it won’t be as cute. :|

Caitlin, Jeniffer Levine (our friend) and I try to get inspired to make videos together by clipping out magazine pictures, colors and textures. Seems the web and television are morphing toward a more seemless thingy, so web-based shows and reports like Sarah’s are already tv ready. No need to give up the web ;)

What do you mean put it in my videos? This video wasn’t really pop17, but more of a “Sarah Austin Vlog” so I guess that’s why, but the rest of them have it…
how did U make the opening sequence of your videos? was it done in layers in Adobe Illustrator and then U brought it to after effects to animate it?
and its just my opinion but I think U should have the beautiful pop17 logo stay on the screen for the whole video instead of just popping it on and off !!!! :) U rock :)

Sailboats, I am inspired by sailboats. Perhaps a 40ft double ender docked at a marina in Sausalito.
1. The idea that folks who start with a lot have to produce and give back a lot. This seems like a simple equation.
2. The idea that I have a purpose because you have a need. Another uncomplicated concept.
3. Working with amazing, inspiring people. That currently includes the kids, at: http://www.youtube.com/radicallovemusic So i guess that’s…make the most of the great days. They don’t last forever. : )
I am inspired by your room-mate. Don’t know how exactly but sometimes inspiration comes when you least expect it and in ways you can’t predict. I guess I like seeing folks on You Tube who are still trying things for fun and are not jaded by life yet.

I’m inspired by my kids mostly. They make me want to be a better dad to them. Also, particularly my daughter, she’s 3: she’s at that stage where she comes out with all kinds of really original ideas & amazing little flashes of deep wisdom which make me just really amazed & privileged to be around her. So cool!
