The Ultimate Marketers Digital Lab

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Lili takes us behind the scenes at Ogilvy Digital Lab in New York City. Here we are given a glimps of the future of marketing. What’s the most insane technology you can think of? I like what advertisers are doing with Near Field Communications and mobile devices.

My Degree is General Business, and I currently am taking a course in Retail and a Course in Computer Technologies.
Businesses are going through great lengths to invent new ways to advertise to consumers. User interface has to be
easy and quick for a business. The kiosks are a good way for businesses to display their products, and will become more
common place. Kiosks..make it easy to purchase, display and sample key product lines in the business. Web design color,
graphics, and shopping cart customizing for quick transfer of payment also key in the kiosks and for a business.

    Have a great day
    Sarah

Also, IT departments of many businesses know that everyone has a cellphone. The wireless capabilities of sending an advertisement when you walk past a store in major cities is an important new way to advertise and market to consumers. The virtual world as displayed in this video will be a form of information technology and advertising as the cost for a kiosk goes down in malls and other locations.

A good website that talks about the business aspects of a kiosk is

NFC technology has been mainstream in other places (mainly asia) for a long time, and we’ve been taking steps toward it already with QR marketing.

@KellyR: The PRESENT of marketing is social media and tech.
