I put together some outtakes from recording the show because on several occasions, while editing in Final Cut Pro, I’m known to LOL because of something I said while recording. Although there isn’t anything too insane with the bloopers, like me falling out of the chair, I like the part at 1:15 where I *quickly* run through the takes while counting with my hand- indicating for editing of the video. :)

Nice outtakes — fun to see behind-the-scenes stuff. How many takes did some of these shots take? You ran out of fingers at one point, Sarah! :~)

Lol, very funny! You are extra adorable when you mess up:P

@JD Lasica, I usually get it on my first take… I shoot a couple to choose from. When I first started I had more takes. My live show can’t have bloopers.

Hey Sarah, those were fun. I was really hoping you wouldn’t fall off from that spectroman airplane thingy (we call it Spectroman in Brazil, and even have a song to go along with it).

Oh that’s a Brazil thing? Where is the song? Do you have a link? I’d like to research more about it.

Well Miss Austin, this must be your lucky day, because I’m watching Be Kind Rewind at the moment. So I might record a reenactment of the Spectroman game I played with my cousins some 15 years ago. Or maybe call one of them on Skype and record the song at least, cause the airplane part you seem to play quite well.

Wow! @anarina! If you did that I’d be so happy. go for it if you have extra time today :)

Ok, here’s what you get for making me revisit my childhood as a energetic tomboy from Brazil…

Spectroman is one of those action series from Japan. My cousins probably know the song because they’re older. My generation watched Jaspion, Jirayia and Changeman (I liked the girl who was the white changeman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2fz7xdJ5jM).

I basically only had guy friends in the first and second grades. We called each other by our last names, played tag games during recess and used my sister’s hairbands (like the one you wear) to pretend they were our visors when we transformed into superheros.

Anyway, back to Spectroman. I found on YouTube that the song I remember is the opening theme for the show (you can see the English version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qitm2uB1Re0). However, the song I remember is either in Japanese or in a language my cousins invented and was full of Os. But the melody I remember exactly like the one in the video.

Since I can’t find the theme in either Portuguese or Japanese, I can’t confirm this right now but I’ll write her an e-mail and see if she remembers anything.

Yup, a Japanese turned Brazilian thing. Was it your first time or are you a frequent “spectromanner”?
