Bre Pettis formerly produced a show for Make Magazine, does field reports for Rocketboom and is now working for Etsy.
Today I went out to Brooklyn to see Pettis’ new office and studio. Etsy is a place where you can buy and sell things you make or want to make online. I just registered and have to say it’s one of my new favorite websites.

Another great show!
Thanks Jamison and thanks for watching!
That turned out great! Nice work editing and shooting! It was a pleasure hanging out.
Hi Bre, thank you so much for being a guest on my show. You are so good on camera!
[...] of for his Weekend Projects show, now works at Etsy, the seller of all things handmade. Bre gives a quick tour of the Etsy headquarters to Sarah Meyers of Pop17 (friend: pop17), and also lets us know how he got involved with Etsy and [...]
Interaction on the web is self perpetuating and the formula of success.
@Wiremold, I like it so I guess that’s a plus for me. Did you make my live show today, Friday, on http://pop17.com/live via mogulus?
The live show is also at http://mogulus.com/popsnap
Yes, I was able to catch it on Mogulus; very interesting program. Your broadcasting skills are continuing to grow and I love the content. Happy Easter!
Thanks so much. Pop17 is on the front page of TechCrunch today in a battle of the geeky lady podcasters. :)
Hey that Etsy is really a cool and swagtastic site. I’ve been buying craps, oops, I mean crafts from there for nearly three years. It’s great to see a familiar internet persona like Mr. Pettis on board there. Now if someone were selling Bre Pettis imitation clip-on sideburns: I’d definitely order a set!
@Michael_A_Dixon, yeah right… I don’t know about the sideburns. lol.
Bre is teh bomb, as is Etsy. Bre and the the ladies of Etsy helped me screenprint a jacket there last year. Nice to see the place again! Good piece Sarah.
Love the interview.
I’m making sketches of the bathing suit I want to have made via Etsy. They have the alchemy project which is awesome.
