Stumble itFelicia Day is widley known for her role in Buffy The Vampire Slayer in 2003. After tracking a long history in film and television, Felicia started her own web show, The Guild, which won the Greenlight Award for Best Original Digital Series Production at SXSW, the YouTube Video Award for Best Series, and the Yahoo! Video Award for Best Series. Recently, she stared in Dr. Horrible Sing Along Blog created by Joss Whedon (also creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) which was a runaway hit online. Few others have yet to make as much of an impact in both the traditional and new media worlds.

Wish you’d asked her about the success of Dr. Horrible and why she thinks Whedon’s formula worked where others didn’t.
yea and did she have amy input in the writing of Dr. Horrible?

No I didn’t have anything to do with the writing of Dr. Horrible. I think Joss’ formula worked because he has a fanbase who spearheaded the outreach for the show. Also, he was able to sell directly through iTunes which few independent people have been able to do. I hope they continue working with creators in this way, it’s a big step forward!
