Being a girl in tech is great! We stand out like a soar thumb at E3 in attendees, however, are abundant in booth babes. Why is that? So many deals, so little time! When Anna and I find ourselves out and about and in need of a good deal, we’re mostly just out of luck. Imagine how cool it would be if you could search only deals near your exact location from your mobile phone. Our greatest challenge yet is not just one gadget, but an entire conference for Apple fans. MacWorld 2011 takes a win after a challenging fight. The conference had some pretty cool gadgets and a silly iPhone app, but all and all Apple fans live on victoriously. It’s a great conference for Apple fans to come out and celebrate their favorite products and accessories.

Summer Search is a fantastic non-profit organization that builds leadership skills with high potential low-income high school students. They give year long mentoring, scholarships to summer educational and experiencial summer programs, provide college counseling and resources, and are like a second family to their students. I was a Summer Search student when I was in high school so it’s an honor to highlight the charity that has helped shape me into who I am today.
Drew Curtis is micro famous for his large presence online and involvement in off beat news aggregation. Fark started because Curtis liked to share news stories with his friends when in college and channeled his hobby into a website.
