Indie music sensation Lana Del Rey is literally everywhere at the moment. Since the video for her song “Video Games” went viral last year, the singer/songwriter has jumped into the mainstream media spotlight. Her recent performance on SNL drew some harsh criticism, most notably from actress Juliette Lewis on Twitter. But with the release of her new album “Born To Die” and her upcoming performance at SXSW 2012, Lana Del Rey probably isn’t leaving the spotlight anytime soon.

Adobe foundation, with the help from a little group we like to call “The Black Eyed Peas”, and their Peapod Foundation have launched a total of five Adobe Youth Voices academies to date that focus on multimedia tools to help youth make a difference!

By providing breakthrough learning experiences for young people, adobe youth voices philosophy is to: “capitalizes on young people’s innate optimism and sense of justice, helping encourage youth to be creative, articulate contributors to their communities.”

Rock For Hunger operates an event every Monday at Panera on Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. At this event volunteers help serve the homeless with hot meals.

I always like finding charities like this one because they are offering so much more to the homeless then just a hot meal.

They are giving the homeless with the care and attention they deserve. Volunteers help with career development and lifestyle training.

Both are vitally important and empowering tools which someone in poverty can use to help make a difference to their life.

The concerts which Rock For Hunger hold have raised a total of $63,000 so far.
