The idea behid the party was brilliant! All you had to do was pitch your idea! In fact our own Sarah Austin pitched for her fist time at this event. The catch – you only had 2 and a half minutes to pitch! The preasure was on. The party was tastefully set on a rooftop of a brand new Austin hotspot ROIAL – guests gathered and enjoyed free cocktails, tasty miny burgers & pitches.

My 5 Tips for a Quick and Successful pitch:

1. Make sure to have a clear outline – especially if you only have 2 minutes to pitch, know what you’re going to say ahead of time

2. Have a clear objective

3. Make sure to know your competitors and industry like the back of your hand

4. RELAX and breathe…..

5. Have a good closing sentense – make it memorable
