So many deals, so little time! When Anna and I find ourselves out and about and in need of a good deal, we’re mostly just out of luck. “I Wish This Was..” is a project that launched in New Orleans during December 2010 by public installation artist Candy Chang. The idea behind the initiative is that the community makes use of disused buildings. They write messages on stickers (such as the one above) about what they wish that building or facility was. Earlier on I reported about Delta Airlines pledging $1 million to Japan. According to a blog post written today, the AOL community have raised a total of $200,000 in aid of the relief fund for Japan. The community used a special donation widget which was placed on the AOL homepage on Friday.
