People keep tweeting about organizing tweetups on twitter. My friends and I would like to go to a tweetup to make new twitter friends. How do you find out about tweetups?

Twitzu is a place where anyone can create an event and invite their friends and followers on twitter.

It’s easy to create an event too. Just enter your twitter username and password, event title, location, description, address and you are ready to blast your followers. Your followers can go to your event page and RSVP with their twitter username so you know who is coming. Twitzu let’s you track events on the site by bookmarking them. I will be looking out for tweetups in NYC on twitzu. It would be great to know what you think of twitzu on twitter.
