So over the last few months I’ve been playing around with the new.digg.com and got the hang or feel of how it’s going to work. I personally love it! The whole “My News” & “Top News” really makes sense to me. However, I have a feeling it’s going to piss off all those people who don’t like chance.
People and Change, every ui change that ever happens to big huge websites. People get all bent out of shape over cause their brains and eyes have to adjust ever so slightly to learning where stuff is again. I can see a Facebook group all ready forming now “Want The Old Digg Interface” group. I for one won’t be joining this group but I’m sure some will to no avail.
The New Digg is here to stay, good job Kevin!

Maybe you can take over Pop17 on new.digg … you seem to know how to work it.
You apparently aren’t reading why people are complaining about the new digg. The layout isn’t the issue, its the functionality they removed that is an issue. All the news used to be pushed by actual users, not faceless RSS streams. Upcoming news turned into crap, because you can no longer view all upcoming, only ones submitted by your friends. No longer can you view your comment ratings and follow previous comment discussions on one screen, you have to go back to the story, and dig through all the comments and find yours again to continue.
They removed the social aspect and commercialized the whole thing, and that is what is turning people off. They tried to fix something that wasnt broke by removing features people enjoyed.
