How To Make A Live Show

Bookmark the permalink.I have been getting a lot of emails recently asking me how I make my live show. I’m lucky to have the help of Mogulus and their studio. I also use an N95 phone which I broadcast on to Flixwagon when outside of the studio.
Some of the equipment I use for the live show is not necessary, but adds an extra layer to the production quality compared to streaming right off your laptop (which I also do sometimes as well)
What are some of your favorite gadgets, accessories and software for live streaming?

This is one of my favorite videos of yours Sarah. I love behind the scenes stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I love the behind the scene stuff too(especially about video production), a Sony Handycam for lifecasting…thought that’s kind of overkilled lol
BTW, I am still not used to hearing “Sarah Austin”, “Sarah Meyers” roll off the tongue so much easier for me :-p
Hi Sarah,
thanks for showing us the gear you use – interesting to see the work that goes into this stuff. The results are pretty slick.nomiSimple
Great show Sarah! Why are you using the name Sarah Austin now?
Nice “behind the scenes” episode, Sarah! :D
What audio mixer do you use?
I mean, when you say midi; what do you mean?
I mean… In the video when you say midi; what do you mean?
Hey Sarah great show!
Sarah Austin?
you look more like a Meyers, than an Austin
lol – you change your name, and it seems like everything wrecks into havoc
How do you green screen?
What kind of cable do you use to bring the camera and background together with the websites behind you?
good stuff like usual.

Hey Sarah,
Or any of the pop17 crew, I have a live web show, Canon HF R18 camera, lighting and a green screen, but I don’t know how to green screen live, I can not live in premier pro / Sony Vegas 9 pro but how do you do it live?
Please reply
James.

I wish someone would pay me to do the “justin” thing. I would lifecast 24/7 if my life would allow it.
