More than 350 million people around the world are connected by Facebook. The expansive reach and six degrees of separation evolving ecosystem calls for more than 5,000 friends at a time.

I have about 5,000 friends on facebook and thousands of friend requests. I can’t access the requests because they go back so far in facebook that they are not even visible for me to ignore or accept. Furthermore, when someone else tries to add me they get denied because I have too many friends and too many requests. I want to filter out my requests so that at least I have room for more requests from friends that I can actually accept. Because facebook is poorly set up for super social people like me, it looks like I am rejecting friends when in reality all I want to do is include them. Now if you want to be my friend it takes more than a personal note because it is impossible for people to add me. Instead of the axajy box that says add a pesonal note and request a friend, the person adding me gets a notice stating “sorry, you cannot add any more friends or fan pages without removing some first.”

The only way this person can get on my friends list and access my profile on facebook is to go to google and track down my email and email me. Then I have to log on, remove a friend, and add the requesting friend in their place. This is absurd.
