Hi Sarah. Great Start today. Looking forward to your daily casts.
Congrats on getting another sponsor, Virgin America, wow, the Branson interview worked out well for you.
Keep at it, wish you all the success!
Looks great Sarah. Well worth the wait. Good luck with everything :)
Good luck Sarah, this looks like fun.
PS: tell your video post production team to de-interlace the video.
This looks great. Can we add comments to the video? I attempted to but it is blocked?
I love it – HomeStar Renter? I think that Strongbad will definitely get an email about this one. He might have to upgrade old lappy.
@Stefan, I don’t see any jagged lines. I suppose I could re-export and de-interlace the source video, but I don’t think it will do much!
Thanks everyone who watches and subscribes!
PS. Sarah it looks great embedded in a blog too. :)
Good job!
Nice production!
You’ve tweaked my interest!
Dick
Who’s Robert Scoble again? ;^)
Great job Sarah – I’m glad that you are my Twitterfriend too!
all the best on the new site.
Bloody wow. i like it, much better than the trials. I will be back every day for my feast.
10/10.
Robert Scoble? Ha ha… Nice job!
Rihanna!
What is the iTunes podcast feed URL ?
This is awesome. Good luck to you and your team.
looking forward to more episodes
did you say “turst”?
Good idea. Will subscribe.
Good start, Sarah. Congrats on the launch.
Your bubble wipe is so much better than the star wipe:)
Awesome, Sarah! I look forward to the future episodes. Good luck with this project.
Nice work, Sarah! Congrats on the launch. :) How often will you be posting?
Great idea – looking forward to what you uncover. Congrats on the launch and great first episode!
@Mark Schoneveld Every day!
@ Brice Le Blevennec expect to see that on the site later today. Thanks for asking.
Bubbles are yummy!
Well done, looking forward to more.So its finally here! Very nice. Did your interview with Branson have anything to do with the sponsorship? Thats kind of a big fish!
Your chocolate rain rendition really touched my heart! It’s great to see you launch. Do you think Tila still counts as being a web star considering she has her own MTV show?
Great job. Interesting concept. Looks like the web has a new micro-celebrity at pop17.
Since this is a fusion the ‘The Bright Lights’ and ‘A Series of Tubes’ I am going to say:
“Break a leg ! Go Team !”
=^-^=
@Rick Rey, I asked the question about Tila Tequila and Dane Cook. They still qualify as Internet celebs, but not so much as micro-celebs nor macro-celebs. :)
Ha, “Microcelebrities” is a good word for them. I saw this on Andrew (from Rocket Boom)’s blog, I’m gonna subscribe to the RSS. Do you guys have a YouTube channel?
Also, whoa, that’s weird seeing those photographs from Videocracy–I’m pretty sure not only did I see them being taken, I had a moment of uncomfortable eye contact with the photographer. Was it the dude with the mustache and glasses?
Great idea Sarah executed very nicely!
Look forward your next episode!
I have to wonder how many people are going to end up at this page looking for information on the actors of characters like Mini-Me.
Great initiative! Now you have a subscriber from Denmark also;)
Congrats, Sarah!
I like you. You’re cool.
@Brad O’Farrell I don’t have a YouTube channel for this show yet. I think YouTube would really like this show!
I thought it was good. I almost watched it twice. I will watch more. Go Sarah, go!
Um, why am I the only one who thinks this is an awful show?
You Rock!
You and your show ROCKS! This will be one of the places where I go to understand today and the future!
@Marshall Kirkpatrick, you make me smile. Seriously, though, it’s comments like “I’m going to watch it twice” that make video bloggers want to video blog. I hope the show gets even better. I have a feeling it will!
ROFL!!! My favorite hater comment is “can I please have 3 minuets of my life back. ”
What’s your favorite typical comment?
Hi Sarah,
I’m looking forward to your reports. But don’t forget Web 1.0. I remember Mahir, arguably first Web-grown celeb: http://tiny.cc/3uTSG
Great job, Sarah. I really enjoyed it. It was definitely worth the wait. Is it merely coincidence that you’re sponsored by Virgin America so shortly after interviewing Richard Branson?
I can tell your brimming with excitement over putting this together and IT’S CONTAGIOUS! Plus, you’ve done a great job with the first ep. Good choice putting in Viddler, it’s a great platform with an awesome community. I can see this podcast going far and you becoming a micro-celebrity yourself. Will be watching. Congrats!
Great first show. I’m really looking forward to the next episode.
If you ever consider expanding it to Europe, let me know ;)
Oh and nice touch with the headband. I didn’t notice that until I saw it again ;)

@Dennis Bjorn Petersen, Thanks about the headband. I was wondering if anyone would notice that!
I’d be happy to explain this to Europe. :)
Why would you put Rihanna in the list of microcelbrities? Not only is she a huge celebrity with a legit record deal, but she didn’t become famous due to the internet—Jay Z discovered her and signed her.
Hi, Cary! I didn’t say that. The tall man with the black hat in the video said that. Regardless, she did get famous on Myspace fyi :)
I don’t know what happened first, however. Did she get famous on Myspace first or did JayZ sign her first? I’ll look into it.
Wow Sarah, I cannot believe how far you have come! Now this is a great show; well organized, informative, interesting, and your vocab is pretty academic! I am in awe of your show, keep up the good work girl!
Excellent start! You are already on your way to being a micro celebrity!
No, you didn’t say it but she’s in your montage of micro/internet celebs. That guy was wrong, and I thought you would know that.

She came through like most major label recording artists. MySpace had nothing to do with her fame, besides acting as PR/marketing like it does for most artists these days.
